All direct answers to a post must make a genuine attempt to answer the question. Joke responses at the parent-level will be removed. Accounts using AI to generate answers will be banned. #Rule 6: No suicide or 'was I raped/sexual assaulted/sexually harrassed?' questions

#Rule 7: No self-promotion, shilling or begging
No trying to draw traffic to product/video/podcast/website by phrasing it in the form of a question.
Asking for upvotes, birthday wishes, handouts, or fundraising support fall under this as well. Please see more appropriate subreddits for that.
No questions trying to elicit participation without learning anything of substance from the answers.
#Rule 8: No illegal/unethical or disturbing subject matter
Nothing like "Where can I find a copy of (movie/show/music) for free online?" There are other places for asking that, this is not one of them.
Tasteless or disturbing questions regarding loli, pedophilia, murder, violence or other sketchy or disgusting subject matter are not welcome here. You are welcome to ask good faith questions about such topics but be aware such threads may be locked or removed if necessary to preserve the integrity of the subreddit.
#Rule 9: No disguised rants, agenda posts, potstirring, disruptive topics
Questions not asked in good faith - such as a rant or hate towards any group in the form of a question, as well as leading questions, or those asked merely to promote an agenda will be removed.

#SUBREDDIT RULES:
## Rule 1: Poor Behavior
This sub has a zero tolerance policy against bigotry (racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia etc) of any sort. Slurs or extreme insults are not okay. No toxicity or arguing either - this is meant to be a fun community. Just be excellent to each other.
## Rule 2: Recently posted jokes
If you see a recent post containing the joke you want explained, use that to find the punchline instead. Simple as that.
We define "recently posted joke" as anything that's been posted within the last three months.
Overused memes such as Loss and unedited Stonetoss comics are banned.
## Rule 3: Dogwhistles/Conspiracy Theories
We have a zero tolerance policy for dogwhistling of any kind. Dogwhistling are bigoted terms only people in that bigoted group would understand (Ex. 88 for Heil Hitler.) If the punchline of a joke is something bigoted the post will be removed for dogwhistling.
Try not to spread conspiracy theories either (pandemic denial, genocide apologism, etc).
Intentionally posting content with the goal of spreading bigotry or conspiracy theories will result in a ban.
## Rule 4: Political Shilling / Debating
Political posts ARE allowed so long as they are jokes that need to be explained and are posted in good-faith. This is NOT a debate sub. Do not argue politics in the comments.
## Rule 5: 'Wooooshing' users
An obvious punchline to you isn't necessarily obvious to others. This is a community for everyone to have jokes explained without judgment - try not to be rude.
If you have a history of whooshing here you will be banned.
Posts or memes whooshing users will result in an immediate ban.
## Rule 6: Low effort posts
If your post doesn't contain a joke needing explanation, it'll be removed.
You need to reply to the AutoMod comment with your best guess on what a meme means. If you don't reply with your best guess your post will be removed.
Overall poor quality post will be removed.
If the content of the meme can be easily Googled the post will be removed.
If a joke is explained in the original thread being crossposted it will be removed.
## Rule 7: Banned Jokes
The following things are banned:
- [Unedited Stonetoss comics](https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/subcultures/stonetoss)
- [Loss memes](https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/loss)
- [Man vs Bear memes](https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/man-or-bear-in-the-woods-question)
- Jokes found in the stickied thread
These posts have become *extremely* repetitive and many of them incite vitriolic responses. If we add new things to this list, we will update it with a sticky post.
## Rule 8: Metaposts
Metaposts are allowed if in a joke format and relevant. Non-joke or irrelevant metaposts will be removed.
This rule does not apply to “weird pictures of Peter.” Those are fine.
## Rule 9: No bots, spam, machine-generated content, or karmafarming
Content posted by bots and spammers will be removed.
Machine generated content created by LLMs such as ChatGPT etc. will be removed.
Karmafarming is not allowed here. If we suspect your account of karmafarming it will be removed.
Posting jokes you already understood or any OC’s like self-made memes and comics will be counted as spam and removed.
Violating this rule could result in an immediate permanent ban.",

|4. No personal info, hate-speech, or harassment.|No identifying information, including anything hosted on platforms making that information public. Posts encouraging the harassment of any individual, group, community, or subreddit will be removed, and the submitting user may be banned. |6. No forbidden titles, low-effort titles, or posts about Reddit cakedays. (See below).|No asking for upvotes (in any form), no “Cake Day” posts, and no posts to communicate with another Redditor. Rules:
#1. Posts must be about conflict
Posts must be about a conflict - a disagreement between two or more people in actions or words. Hypothetical posts are allowed if there is a reasonable expectation of conflict.
#2. Posts must ask for judgment
This is a judgment sub, not a sub for advice, relationship issues, debates over larger issues, or rants.
#3. No AI or bot posts and comments.
AI posts and comments are not allowed and will be removed. Yes, even if you only used it as a writing tool. Bot posts and comments are not allowed and will be removed. All accounts will be permanently banned.
#4. No completely fake posts
Fake posts that have no point or are clearly creative writing are not allowed. Hypothetical posts (asking, "Would I be the AH if I did...?") should clearly label themselves and use the flair. We do not allow posts that have been asked loads of times recently and we will remove them as fake.
#5. No karma farming
Post and comments that appear to be farming for karma will be removed. Any history of going to karma farming sites are also a violation. The account will face a ban.
#6. No reposts or third-party posts
This includes cross-posting your own post on other advice subs and recycling old posts. Third-party posts are posts that are not from the original user - that is, you can't post for someone else. Hypothetical posts are not third-party posts.
#7. Be civil to each other
We expect people to post and comment with decorum. No matter how egregious you might think a user is acting, you do not have a right to respond in the same way. This rule will be enforced less strictly in comments that are providing judgement against the poster, but we will still remove particularly egregious personal attacks.
#8. No excessive use of demeaning language or names
Descriptive negative language such as name-calling is not allowed. Cussing happens when people become emotional, and that is understandable. However, name calling just to insult people is not allowed.
#9. No advertising
No advertising of any kind in the subreddit or on your bio. No gambling links, no crypto, NSFW links, self-enrichment links (send me money) etc. Any violation will result in a permanent ban.
#10. No political posts or comments that push an idea or agenda..
Posts and comments that discuss a political point rather than a specific conflict are not allowed.
Posts that are solely based on political views and/or individuals are not allowed. If a comment is used to attack another person by using common political terms and buzzwords that have no relevance to the post, it will be removed.
If a political post becomes uncivil in the comments, the post will be removed as uncivil.
#11. Maximum of one update.
To keep the subreddit focused on judgment posts, one update post is allowed for each new post made. You are welcome to make further updates in our other subreddit r/Redditor_Updates",
